Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data IJJEN LTD collects through ijjen.com, why, and what rights you have. It applies to this website and to the enquiries you send us through it.

Who we are

IJJEN LTD is the controller of your personal data:

  • a company registered in the Republic of Cyprus, registration number HE 439776;
  • registered address: 12 Nikodimou Mylonas, Themis Court, Floor 3, Office 312, 8047 Paphos, Cyprus;
  • postal address: P.O. Box 60495, 8103 Paphos, Cyprus;
  • email: contact@ijjen.com.

For any question about this policy or your data, write to us by email or by post.

What we collect

When you contact us. The contact form asks for your name, email address, the company you represent (optional), what your enquiry is about (on the About page) and your message, and records that you have read this policy. We use this only to reply to you and to discuss the work you ask about.

When you visit the site. To deliver the site and protect it from abuse, our hosting and security provider processes technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages requested. The contact form is protected by an automated check that tells people from bots; it uses the same kind of technical data.

Statistics. We count visits with privacy-friendly analytics that do not use cookies, do not follow you across sites and do not build a profile of you. We see only aggregated numbers, such as how many people visited a page.

We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not send newsletters or marketing emails.

  • To answer your enquiry and discuss a possible project — steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).
  • To keep the website and the form secure and free of spam — our legitimate interest in protecting our services (Article 6(1)(f)).
  • To understand how the site is used, in aggregate — our legitimate interest in improving the site (Article 6(1)(f)).

Where we rely on legitimate interests, you can object at any time (see “Your rights”).

Who receives it

IJJEN LTD is responsible for your personal data wherever it is kept. Your enquiry is stored in our information systems and is seen only by the people at IJJEN LTD who handle it. Where service providers support us — for example, by hosting the website and our systems — they process data only on our instructions and under contract. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

Transfers outside the EEA and the UK

Some of our service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. In that case we rely on an adequacy decision or on the safeguards the GDPR provides for, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and, for UK data, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for 12 months after our last exchange and then delete them, unless we enter into a contract with you — in that case we keep what the contract and the law require. Technical data used for security is kept only for a short period.

Cookies

This website does not set its own cookies and uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting and security provider may set strictly necessary cookies that protect the site and the contact form from abuse (for example, cf_clearance); they do not require consent and are not used to track you. Our analytics work without cookies.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, and the UK GDPR if you are in the United Kingdom, you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data erased;
  • restrict how we use it;
  • receive it in a portable format;
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interests.

To use any of these rights, write to contact@ijjen.com. We reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority — in Cyprus, the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection; in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) — although we would welcome the chance to resolve your concern first.

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

Security

We protect personal data with appropriate technical and organisational measures: the site is served only over encrypted connections, and access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it.

Children

This website is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
